Chris began his real estate journey in family-owned firms in Central New Jersey, learning the business from the ground up under the guidance of his father. From the start, he was taught to think differently—like an entrepreneur, not just a Realtor®. That mindset continues to define his work today. Chris is deeply experienced in both elite residential sales and large-scale development, and regularly collaborates with national and regional builders to bring high-impact projects to market across the Lowcountry and greater Southeast.
As the founder of BOWES Properties | SERHANT., Chris has built a top-tier team known for precision, professionalism, and specialization. Many of his team members are veterans of new home construction and development sales, often trained by Fortune 500 builders. He sets a high standard for what it means to serve, and he demands the same from those around him.
Beyond the boardroom, Chris is proudest of his role at home. He lives in Bluffton, South Carolina with his wife Susan and their three children—Sydney, Kylie, and Brady. His family is the foundation of his drive and ambition, and his commitment to legacy is what fuels his work every day.
